Privacy Policy

Data we process

• Account data: Firebase Authentication may process your email address, display name, profile photo, sign-in provider and a stable account identifier.
• Learning data: XP, level, quiz attempts, achievements and related progress are cached on the device. When you sign in, progress is also synchronised to Google Firestore so it can follow your account across devices.
• AI and feedback content: questions sent to the tutor, exercise requests and feedback text are transmitted to our service so a response can be generated or the report can be reviewed. Do not submit employer-confidential code, credentials or personal data in free-text fields.
• Purchase data: Google Play and RevenueCat process product, transaction and entitlement information. Mastering ABAP receives entitlement status but does not receive your full payment-card details.
• Advertising and consent data: the free Android experience uses Google AdMob and Google's consent tools. Those SDKs may process consent choices, device information and advertising identifiers according to your settings and Google's policies. Premium removes Mastering ABAP's native ads.
• Product analytics: signed-in commercial events such as viewing Premium, selecting a plan, starting checkout, restoring purchases and viewing the app family are stored with a pseudonymous account hash. We do not place your email address in those event records.

Why we use the data

We use it to authenticate accounts, synchronise learning progress, personalise study results, provide AI-assisted learning, respond to feedback, validate Premium access, prevent abuse and operate the app securely.

Service providers and international processing

Data may be processed by Google Firebase, Google Play, Google AdMob and User Messaging Platform, RevenueCat, Vercel, DeepSeek and Google Gemini for the purposes described above. These providers may process data outside India or your country of residence under their own security and legal arrangements.

Storage and retention

Local progress remains on the device until app data is cleared. Account-linked progress is retained while the account is active and as needed to provide the service. Product analytics are scheduled for deletion after approximately 13 months. After a verified deletion request, we delete the Mastering ABAP account, associated Firestore learning progress and the identified RevenueCat customer, except information that must be retained for security, fraud prevention, dispute handling or legal compliance. Google Play and RevenueCat may retain transaction records under their own obligations.

Your choices and requests

You may ask to access, correct or delete account-linked personal data. Signed-in learners can delete the account directly from Profile. Use the public account deletion form if you no longer have access to the app. You can manage or cancel a subscription separately in Google Play. Where the Android consent interface is available, you can review advertising privacy choices from the app.

Security and children

We use encrypted network connections and restrict account APIs to verified Firebase tokens. No online service is risk-free. Mastering ABAP is intended for adult learners and SAP professionals and is not directed to children under 18.
